Server Logs

Like all web servers, our hosting infrastructure automatically records standard access logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) for security and operational purposes. These logs are retained for up to 90 days and are not used for profiling or marketing.

6

Data Retention and Deletion

Commitment records are retained indefinitely as part of the civic record of the Citizen Engineer movement. If you submitted a commitment and wish to have it removed from the database, you may submit a deletion request by emailing [email protected] with the subject line "Registry Deletion Request." Because commitments are submitted without account creation, please include the approximate date of submission and the text of your commitment so we can locate the record. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Note that if your commitment was marked public and has been included in aggregate reporting or promotional materials prior to your deletion request, those prior uses cannot be retroactively removed.
